I had more marination sauce portion left with few fish cubes and veggies in it, i added more diced veggies and enough salt, mix it and left it for minimum 30 minutes to steep (marinate).
Then grill it with butter in air fryer or any appliances available at home (check the notes of Achari fish tikka).
Then cut juliennes of onion 1 cup, coloured capsicums each ½ cup. Finely chop ginger and garlic measuring each 1tbsp and take 1 tbsp of red chilli paste (soak and grind deseeded Kashmiri red chilli). Prepare a sauce mix with ½ cup Tomato ketchup, 2 tbsp Soy sauce, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, ½ tsp Vinegar and 1 tbsp Chilli garlic sauce (optional).
Take a wok preferably or any pan, add 3 tbsp sesame oil, once heated add chopped ginger and garlic, sauté well till it turns golden brown.
Then add sliced onions with salt, stir for few minutes, then add juliennes of coloured capsicums and stir fry again for 2 minutes (capsicums need to be on crunchier side, don’t overcook). Now add chilli paste, stir and put on the lid for a minute to get rid off the raw smell.
Then add the sauce mix, stir well.
Later add a tbsp of sugar, a cup of water, combine well and close the lid for 2 minutes. Now add the leftover tikkas, stir and check the salt and sauce level, can adjust to your taste.
Let it boil for few minutes and switch off the flame if it reached your desired consistency. Yippee!!!! Here your achari fish tikka has taken a disguise of a Chinese fish gravy..🤗😍.
I served this gravy with sticky rice and pandan leaves chicken (my future post). Goes well with Fried rice or rotis too.
